The new distribution agreement allows Fluenta, a global leader in ultrasonic flare gas measurement technology, to better support Louisiana-based chemical plants and refineries to meet increasingly stringent environmental regulations.
The state of Louisiana had recently adopted policies from the Clean Air Act, which introduced additional emission control requirements for storage tanks, flares, and coking units at petroleum refineries in an effort to regulate air pollution across the state.
Following the agreement signing, Donnie Gibbs, CEO of Trilogy Industrial Sales, said, “Trilogy is excited to partner with Fluenta, an innovative global leader in flare gas measurement. We look forward to strategically and aggressively growing the Fluenta name in Louisiana.”
Christopher Viramontes, Regional Sales Manager for USA and Canada, added, “Trilogy Industrial Sales’ direct relationship approach will bring value to operators needing solutions to get back into compliance with Louisiana’s Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) who are enforcing emission reduction policies directly from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).”
Fluenta’s presence is rapidly growing across the Americas, and by combining the respective strengths in environmental measurement and fostering relations across the state, Fluenta and Trilogy will provide customers with a differentiated level of application support, unrivalled measurement accuracies and regulatory compliance.
