The contract enables Tamimi Energy to manufacture under license Fluenta’s flare gas meter FGM160 in Saudi Arabia.

The collaboration with Tamimi Energy allows for the local production of Fluenta’s market-leading ultrasonic flare gas meter, the FGM160, creating additional domestic value to meet the goals of the iktva programme, reducing lead times and increasing availability for customers in the region.

The Fluenta-Tamimi Energy collaboration supports the kingdom’s efforts to reduce flaring. Saudi Arabia endorsed the World Bank’s Zero Routine Flaring by 2030 initiative, and reports show that Saudi Aramco flaring has declined. Saudi’s flaring intensity is now around ten times lower than Russia, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA).

“We are thrilled to be working with Tamimi Energy, a reputable and well-established company in the Saudi energy sector,” said Alex Keys, EMEA Sales Director of Fluenta. “This partnership not only allows us to expand our reach in the Middle East, but it also allows us to provide our customers with faster delivery and local support.”

“We are excited to be able to offer the FGM160,” said Omar Al-Shahrani, General Manager of Tamimi Energy. “Fluenta’s technology is a game-changer in the industry, and we are proud to be able to manufacture and distribute it locally.”

This partnership demonstrates Fluenta’s continued commitment to enabling the oil and gas industry to meet process, regulatory, and environmental obligations by providing innovative and reliable solutions.
