FlarePhase 250

Part of Fluenta's advanced range of ultrasonic transducers, the FlarePhase 250 is designed to be a non-intrusive method of measurement for use in difficult operating conditions containing wildly fluctuating velocities and a wider range of temperatures.

The Next Generation of Ultrasonic Flow Measurement

What makes this a next-gen ultrasonic transducer?

Being a new generation of ultrasonic transducers, the FlarePhase transducers feature the novel “Active Phase Analysis Technology” and continuous measurement optimization.

The core offering of Fluenta’s advanced range of ultrasonic transducers, the FlarePhase 250, comes equipped with a new piezo-electric sensor made from advanced ceramics which ensures that they it only has a wider operating temperature range but is also able to operate at those temperatures for an extended period of time. Packaged with the the FlareAmp and FlareAmp controller and also featuring the “Active Phase Analysis Technology” and continuous measurement optimisation, it boasts accuracies as high as ±0.75% making it a truly next generation ultrasonic measurement solution.

Wide Temperature Ranges

With an operating temperature range of -200 to +250°C, the FlarePhase 250 is ideal for applications with a wide range of temperatures and where temperature tend to remain at one extreme or the other for extended periods of time.

Features and Highlights

The “Active Phase Analysis Technology” combats the issue of phase shifts, which is an inherent issue faced by ultrasonic measurement devices and results in inaccuracies. By determining the phase shifts and calculating the necessary compensation, the FlarePhase range provides laboratory levels of accuracy in the field.

The FlarePhase 250 can be installed in either a single path or a dual path configuration. The dual path can be configured to either provide heightened security in terms of redundancy, when data continuity is of utmost importance or a more accurate measurement as with a dual path accuracy as high as ±0.75% can be achieved.

The FlarePhase 250 transducers can now measure across a wider range of pipe diameters ranging from pipes 6″ to 100″ in diameter making it a much more versatile ultrasonic flow measurement solution
