Challenge:
In this case, there was not enough straight piping available, and modifications were not an option. With no suitable room left to install a flare gas measurement system this client reached out to us for this special project.
Solution
Using their experience and engineering backgrounds, our dedicated service engineers assessed the situation and found that the best location for the flare gas transducers to be installed was in the flare stack or boom. The process of installing transducers in a vertical flare stack was a challenge in itself and the height above the ground just added to it. The transducers were hot tapped in the stack 50 meters above the ground.
Results:
The experienced service engineering team at Fluenta was able to swiftly come up with a solution and ensured quick installation and commissioning. The system is working as intended with no readings being lost or misreported.
